Dragon Ball[edit]
NBS announced that Piccolo Daimao had been defeated by Son Goku in "Lost and Found". Later, Piccolo's adoptive father was seen watching NBS on his big screen TV.
Dragon Ball Z[edit]
Chaozu, Oolong, and Turtle Hermit watched NBS in "A Handy Trick". M. Hashimoto reported explosions in a city on Amenbo Island, explosions which were actually caused by Artificial Human No. 19 and Artificial Human No. 20.
Films[edit]
NBS appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug when the TV station covered an impending asteroid impact, which was later revealed to be Slugg's Spaceship. This news report was covered by M. Hashimoto.
