DB Episode 15

Summary

Lunch walking into a Western saloon.

Goku saving Launch from the police.

Launch in her bad form shooting Roshi, Kuririn, and Goku.

Son Goku and Kuririn, holding on tightly to Goku, flew atop the Kinto Un in order to find a girl suitably for Muten Roshi. In a Western saloon with 'WBC' written on a sign, an innocent girl walked in and sat down. A large cowboy waited for a woman by the name of Launch, a fearsome thief and robber. This sweet, innocent girl did not fit the bill, but she then sneezed and transformed into Launch. The large cowboy was surprised and went on his guard, but was easily beaten. She took out everyone in the saloon and left towards the railway tracks. She derailed a train and stole some money from one of the train cars. She then quickly fled the scene, but the police had been called. The police caught up to her and chased her, fired their guns which did not hit her. Launch then threw a grenade and destroyed one of the police cars. Launch prepared to shoot the other police car when she suddenly sneezed. This turned her back into a sweet, innocent girl and the policemen quickly got out of their car to arrest Launch thinking she was only disguised.

Coincidentally, Goku and Kuririn ventured into the area in search of a girl for Roshi. Goku heard the innocent girl yelling for help and he flew down to check things out. When they arrived, Goku defeated the two policemen with ease thinking that they were bad guys. After the rescue, Goku and Kuririn decided that she would be a good pick for Roshi, and the three flew back to the Kame House.

Kuririn thought they had rescued her from bad guys dressed in police costumes, but Launch told him that they were real policemen and she may stolen some money from a bank or train again. He thought she had taken the joke too far. Goku hurried Roshi out of the bathroom to meet her. Roshi was stunned after he saw Launch and asked her to stay on the island, and even train under him. He asked her to wear the official uniform of the Eternal Turtle School, and along with himself made Goku and Kuririn do the same. The uniforms turned out to be revealing outfits. Suddenly, Launch sneezed as she warned everyone to run away and switched personalities. She looked around confused as to what she wore and where she was at. She then took out a machine gun and shot the other three. Luckily for them, Launch sneezed again and turned back into her sweet, innocent form. She asked if she had done anything bad during the switch as Goku, Roshi, and Kuririn lay on the ground shot.

• In the scene at the saloon shows Akira Toriyama's Dragon World counterpart Tori-Bot shown on a poster as one of the criminals that were already taken down and he had the lowest bounty possibly being comic relief.

• This is the first episode to not have Bulma in it.
• This episode marks the debut of Lunch.
• A window in the Western saloon has 'Brown County 1954' written on it.
