Forum:Did Goku’s heart virus kick in before the scene when he punched Gero (

From Dragon Ball Encyclopedia, the ''Dragon Ball'' wiki

I was watching the Android Saga last night and I have been thinking about this for awhile. When Gero started using the Bionic Punisher attack (his Eye Beams) to level half of the city, Goku was enraged at the murder that took place because of this. He then proceeded to stop the maniacal android with a swift punch to the face. The force of the punch (which caught Gero off guard by the way) knocked off his hat and slightly pushed him back.

He then simply bent down to pick up and put back on his hat with Goku watching with anger. Now was his punch a blow of anger that really was not strong enough to inflict any damage to the android at all, or was it simply that the virus was beginning to take effect and weakened the Saiyan’s attacks? I mean if you notice the ball of sweat that has on his forehead after he struck him, this could be a sign that he was weakening.

Also, another way of saying that it was the virus; look at Goku’s face while he was flying away to an isolated area to fight the androids, when they landed and Goku asked about how they knew so much about them, when he turned SS and then when he powered up to charge at the two androids. In all of these scenes, Goku had balls of sweat either on his face or falling from it.

Even as a SS, his blows were doing nothing to #19, so it may be that his punch was weakened by the virus so that #20 barely felt it at all. Anyone else think so?----Vegetaisthebest

Ok, sig. is starting to mess up again so I give up on it...
