The Darkness Sword Attack (ダークネス ソード アタック, Dākunesu Sōdo Atakku; Literally meaning "Darkness Sword Attack") is an energy beam attack used by Dabura.

Usage

First, Dabura creates a sword using Magic Materialization and extends it while encasing it in fire. Next, he slashes his opponent multiple times and uses it to knock them away. Finally, Dabura flies toward his opponent with tremendous speed and immediately stops right in front of them (just as they are recovering from the earlier attack) and blasts them in the face with an energy beam.

History

Dragon Ball Z

Dabura used this attack in his fight against Son Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form. Super Saiyan 2 Son Gohan was cut once, but blocked the rest of the attacks.

Dabura also used this attack in his fight against Majin Boo, but it did no damage whatsoever. The energy beam at the end of the technique, however, was used to obliterate Kibito.

Video games

It is named Sword Rush[citation needed] in Dragon Ball Z: Sūpā Butōden 3 and is one of Dabura's Meteor Attacks.

It is named Hell Blade Rush in the Budokai video game series and the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is Dabura's Ultimate Blast.

It later appeared in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and is once again Dabura's Ultimate Blast.
