The Final Shine Attack (ファイナル シャイン アタック, Fainaru Shain Attaku) is an energy beam wave attack used by Vegeta.

Usage

Vegeta puts his hand to his side and forms a green energy sphere. He then brings his hand forward and fires a green wave beam of energy at his opponent, inflicting a huge amount of damage.

History

Anime

Vegeta used this attack in his battle against Super Artificial Human No. 17, but it proved ineffective against him.

Vegeta used this attack in his battle against Omega Shen Long, but failed and was countered by the Dragon Thunder.

Video games

Final Shine Attack appeared in the Budokai Tenkaichi video game series and is Vegeta's Ultimate Blast in his Super Saiyan 4 form.

It also appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 and Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World as a death move, but was performed in a Final Flash stance.

Trivia

  • The Final Shine Attack in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is blue in color rather than fully green as in the anime.
  • The Final Shine Attack is exclusively performed by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan 4 transformation in the Budokai video game series and Budokai Tenkaichi video game series. Vegeta never uses it as a Super Saiyan 4, but does as a Super Saiyan 2 in Dragon Ball GT.
  • Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta uses a Final Flash in Dragon Ball GT that is the same color as the Final Shine Attack.
