Films[edit]

Vegeta used this attack in his Ascended Super Saiyan form in his battle against Broly in Dragon Ball Z: Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan. Fearful of Broly's enormous power, Vegeta was unable to fight back while the other Z Warriors fought and were losing to the Legendary Super Saiyan. After he was berated by Piccolo Junior for not fighting back, however, Vegeta regained his Saiyan pride and transformed into his Ascended Super Saiyan form. Ascended Super Saiyan Vegeta then flew to the battlefield and attacked Broly with the Brave Punisher rush, which had no effect. When Future Trunks Brief tried to help, Broly punched him away before smashing Ascended Super Saiyan Vegeta into a cliff, knocking him unconscious.
