From Dragon Ball Encyclopedia
The Flaming Cannon (フレイミング キャノン, Fureimingu Kyanon) is an energy wave used once by Freeza in his final form during his onslaught of attacks in his futile attempt to stop Super Saiyan Son Goku. When performing the attack, Freeza holds his hand outstretched in front of him and fires an intense column of fire that scorches the opponent. Once the beam hits its target, it creates a wall of flames that fully surrounds the opponent, burning them completely.
When Freeza used this attack against Goku, he fired the blast in rapid succession creating a colossal nova of fire that could even be seen by Son Gohan who was miles away flying Piccolo to safety. Despite being the at center of enormous wave of flames, Goku is left completely unharmed by the attack, leaving Frieza awestruck.
- The Continuous Flaming Cannon (連続 キャノン フレイミング, Renzoku Kyanon Fureimingu; Literally meaning "Continuous Cannon Flaming") is a rapid version of the Flaming Cannon that Freeza used against Goku.
